One Lonely Sunflower
One of my very first posts was about some seedlings I had planted. I was quite excited to see what would develope...and I've proven again to be not much of a green thumb, but a few plants did survive. One Sunflower made it to flowering. It's planted in the front of my house and it's quite beautiful and radiantly yellow. It feels a bit lonely, but I'm glad it survived. Three of my Borage plants made it, though they're quite small and a bit droopy. And, my morning glory vines did the best out of all that I planted, though I think the soil that I transplanted them into is a bit too dry. They're not thriving the way I'd hoped they would. I finally got some lattice and I'm going to see if I can train them to start climbing.
We've created quite a beautiful patio area right outside our front door. We got some solar powered lanterns and they are so inviting. We like to sit on our swing and enjoy the peacefullness. I'll miss that during the winter.
I love the seasons, but I really miss the full, green trees in the winter. They feed my soul.
Anyways, I saw my Sunflower as I got home from work today and thought I'd give an update.
Love,
Aislinn
