The Play's the Thing...
I'm really trying to get out to the theater more. Of course, it helps that I have friends and fellow actors in shows whom I want to support.
I'm planning on going to one of the preview nights of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest at Theater! Theatre! next week. Steven Horton, who played Dr. Kelekian in Wit with me, is in it. He tried to get me to audition for the play, but I just...didn't. So, I want to support him and see what I missed.
I also want to see The Tempest at Northwest Classical Theater Co. I have not yet seen this play on stage...but it's a good thing that Mr. David Millstone is in it so I can! I'm hoping that my mom will go see it with me this Friday. She's heading back to Hawaii next Wednesday so I'm trying to get in as much time with her as I can. But if she's not up to going or already has other plans, I'll still try to make it before it closes.
It's a beautiful thing to see so many plays. And it's even more beautiful to be in them...I'm keeping my eyes and ears open for upcoming auditions. I don't always want to be a spectator!
Love,
Aislinn
